SCULPTURE TRAIL

The sculpture trail began 100 years ago, in 1911, when Lorado Taft dedicated the monumental 48' "Blackhawk" statue to the people of Oregon. Taft commented, "I was simply immeasurably grateful that it had been my privilege to do something to make that little community interested in itself". Well, it worked! And we have been adding to the sculpture trail ever since. It now consists of 14 sculptures. For locations of each sculpture click on the map.
