Fields Project Fine Arts and Crafts Show

The Fields Project Fine Arts & Crafts Show

How would you like to spend a day or two where money can’t buy everything; where the best of life is free—things like air so fresh you are invigorated by the smell of it and the touch of it on your face? This is a place where ten cars in a row constitutes rush hour; where people are laid back and take time to find out where you’re from and help you find your way around the area.

Come on the Sunday following Fathers Day to Oregon, IL where you can experience the Field’s Project Arts and Crafts Show. Each visiting artist will display what they have created during their inspirational week on the farm along with regional artists and sculptors. Take an airplane ride to see the field sculptures and a walk along the sculpture trail in town. Make plans to visit the historic Oregon Library’s art gallery collection (Bob, please link the Italic to the Oregon Library site) donated by the Lorado Taft Eagle Nest Art Colony 1898-1942.

For those things that money CAN buy, bring along your checkbook to purchase a bit of the country caught on canvas and in photographs and sculptures. There are food concessions at the Fine Arts and Crafts Show, or you’ll find plenty of restaurants when you explore our town.

At the end of the day, go home refreshed and content, perhaps with artwork that puts a little bit of country back in your soul. Think of us each time you sit down to a delicious, nutritious meal! The farmers of Ogle County are always here---working for you!

The Fine Arts and Crafts Show is located at Mix Park in Oregon, IL, along Rt. 2 south of Rt. 64.

Come to Ogle County where the scenery is so spectacular that artists have been coming here for over a 100 years to capture its essence on canvas, photos or in sculpture.

For plane ride reservations call 815-732-2385.
